Membership Eligibility

Financial and investment professionals of emerging manager firms are eligible for either Regular or Affiliate Membership. Members typically work for investment firms among multiple asset classes.

Emerging Firms are typically defined as those with a maximum of $2 billion in assets and are independently owned.

Founding Members

To be a Founding Member from a firm (creating the first account on behalf of this firm), you must:

Be a senior investment professional at an emerging firm.

Regular Members

Regular Members can only be added once a firm has a Founding Member. They are typically the finance and investment professional staff members who report to the Founding Member.

To be a Regular Member, you must:

Be sponsored by the Regular Member from your firm
Be an employee of the firm

Financial Commitments of Membership

Annual dues are currently waived. However, we may impose dues in the future to cover the costs of maintaining the website, distributing survey results, and other administrative costs.

Other Commitments of Membership

The usefulness of the periodic surveys conducted by eManagerExchange depends on full member participation. The surveys are designed and conducted, and the results are compiled by members who volunteer a great deal of their time. Participation in the three major surveys - investments, admin costs and compensation - is an expected part of eManagerExchange membership.

To maintain eManagerExchange as a "safe" forum where members feel free to share expertise and experiences, members are expected to keep all eManagerExchange information and communications confidential. While eManagerExchange members can use generic information from eManagerExchange surveys, discussions, meetings, etc. within their own firms.

eManagerExchange members never distribute eManagerExchange material to non-members or betray the confidence of their fellow members. All members are expected to sign a confidentiality agreement and renew this commitment annually.
